Criterium Racing!!!!!!

This is what happens at a crit race when you don't know what you're doing! I ate pavement at 30 mph going around a turn.2007 Eugene Twilight Criterium Series. I have a white Trek 5500. I wear a yellow jersey with a white helmet. I might get picked up by a team after this season, but we'll see. Hopefully you'll be able to pick me out of the group. I'm on the far right of this pic.
There's me drafting and waiting for a chance to bust it!
Here's Emily cheering me on or whatever the heck this is supposed to be. . .

I don't even think I'm in this pic, but you get to look at guys in spandex shorts (yeehawwww yell the ladies).

For those of you that don't know what a "crit" race is (I just learned myself). It's a lap race of roughly 1000 meters and we do it 25-30 times and everyone is chucked into Tour de France style and you go at it. It's pretty fun. There's a lot more strategy involved than running. You can draft the whole way and kick to the end if you want, but it's more fun to try to "break away" with a group and try and gap the field. Brady Cottle, myself and a couple other guys actually lapped the field in one race this year. It was pretty cool.
