This is what happens at a crit race when you don't know what you're doing! I ate pavement at 30 mph going around a turn.
I don't even think I'm in this pic, but you get to look at guys in spandex shorts (yeehawwww yell the ladies).
For those of you that don't know what a "crit" race is (I just learned myself). It's a lap race of roughly 1000 meters and we do it 25-30 times and everyone is chucked into Tour de France style and you go at it. It's pretty fun. There's a lot more strategy involved than running. You can draft the whole way and kick to the end if you want, but it's more fun to try to "break away" with a group and try and gap the field. Brady Cottle, myself and a couple other guys actually lapped the field in one race this year. It was pretty cool.
